How can I save money on my bills? (October 2009) We are all more conscious of the cost of everything and are looking at costs in a different way. Getting a good deal is being smart, not being tight. We feel better when we know we are getting a good deal. But how do you know if you are getting a good deal or not and where do you start? For us your first port of call should be our website because we have done the tedious work and listed How you can save up to €2000 on your bills. Click here to see How we can Save you Money on your bills. You must first know who you are paying and how much it is costing you before you can compare what else is on offer. List all the bills that you want to check and how much you are paying for them. Google comparison websites such as www.mycash.ie or www.uchoose.ie or many others, as these websites do the work for you. Google for the service you are using and see who else is providing the same service. Either check their website or contact them directly. Look for deals such as Bord Gais Energy which is offering up to 14% discount on ESB rates charged for electricity. Decide which deals suit you best and remember it is not always down to price. We will be adding a page to our website shortly listing many companies offering discounts with links directly to their websites to save you time having to look for deals. We will do the tedious work so you don’t have to and you will always know what deals are available. Watch this space or send an email to info@homepayments.ie and we will let you know when the page is ready.
